Boost leak problem solved!
I just wanted say thanks to everyone! I finally found the faulty hose where the boost was leaking. It turned out that it was same location where carl [stage 2+] had problem with. I getting the replacement today.
Thanks,
Joe
"Mine was a hose about the diameter of your finger. Look about 2/3 of
the way down the intake manifold, you'll see a metal elbow coming out of
it that points back toward the firewall. There is an "L" shaped hose
that wraps around the back of the manifold and connects to some gizmo.
That hose was torn in the crook of the "L". I'd check that hose and the
rest of the smaller hoses in that area that connect to the manifold
either directly or indirectly."
If you just look at it, it's hard to see the crack. First time I did visual check, I missed it. You will have to move around little, stretch it little to reveal the crack. I replaced it ($12 from dealer) and my boost is back!
Good luck finding it.
Joe
