Check engine light.
Solid, not blinking, no driveability issues.
My wife has it over in Charleston, SC where there's no dealer.
I had her shut it down, check the oil (fine), take the gas cap off and retighten.
She restarted and still had the light.
Closest dealership is 100 miles away and she's going tomorrow. She's letting it sit and cool while going out to dinner with her family. If the light is still on I may have to stop by an Auto Zone so they can pull the code.
Anyone here have any other ideas and/or a way to look up the code?

Seriously, take it to autozone and have the pull the code(s). It is likely the code can be reset with no other trouble. Call it "bad gas". I've heard of cases where the code presents itself, is reset, and then no further trouble.

I thnik bimmer.com sells the bentley CD for Audis at a good price.
As for the engine code, it's probably something out of range or not working if it's on steady, as long as it doesn't beep or flash, you should be ok.

She's right up against the 60K (which I plan to DIY next week).
