Control Unit Advice
Have been told by an Audi garage that I need to replace the left hand front door control unit but need the part number,any ideas how and where i can find it without taking it out???

What are the symptons? The reason I ask is the harness that goes into the door is notorious for chaffing / crimping and breaking. Open the door and look near the bottom of the door where it attaches to the body of the car. You will see wires and it should be pretty obvious if you have a harness issue.
