coolant sensor and knock sensor codes

I got a CEL today and VAG sez:
17698 - Coolant Temp Sensor at Radiator Outlet (G83): Signal too Small
P1290 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
16712 - Knock Sensor 1 (G61): Signal too High
P0328 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent - MIL ON
The issue is that there are TWO coolant sensors (green and black). I'm assuming the above is the green one????
There's also two knock sensors. One with a blue connector and one with a green. It isn't clear from any of the exploded diagrams in the "family album" which one of those is "G61". Is it the one closer to the front of the engine or the one closer to the firewall? Should I just re-torque them both to 20Nm first and see if the code comes back?
Any tips would be very much appreciated. Neither one looks particularly challenging to change, but I don't want to buy an extra knock and temp sensor that I don't need.
Best,

That coolant sensor is the **2-pin** version and it's located in the radiator outlet hose near the bottom driver's side of the radiator. The sensor was fine. The connector, however, was not. Some simian had replaced it with a pigtail and had crimped (badly) a couple of bullet connectors on the new one. Most normal folks would have then taped it up to keep the elements out...sigh.
The knock sensor code went away after I loosened the sensor and re-torqued it to 20Nm.
