date display

The date display on my car displays the date before the month. I was wondering if this is normal. (eg. 14.01.02)

That is the format used in Europe.

That's "reverse ISO" format

That's the European format. I noticed that my second key used by my girlfriend has the European programming, so the temperature is in C instead of F. Haven't yet looked into how to re-program.

I am not sure about the 2002, ( getting mine tomorrow) but on my 1998 1.8t you needed to press temp up arrow, and re-circulate button at the same time. that will change outside air temp and inside air temp display from celcius to F.
