Driver's information panel problems
Hi, ever since I got the a4 1.8t about a year ago, the information panel (one that lists radio station, open doors, etc) has been getting static lines through it more and more, and now when I'm driving its completely black. If I hit low fuel level or open a door, it lights up again, but I dont ever see radio/cd/temp information any more. Is there a way to fix this (reset battery or something) or do I have to get a whole new panel?

Dying display...will need to replace the whole dash panel...
same issue with some on the A6 forum. The center display is not available as a seperate part. You will need to have a dealer install, and set the new dash panel with correct mileage.
Some notice that on warm days, it gets worse. Hopefully, you are covered under warranty. No factory recall on these, but a known problem.
