Default dv question...

i want to buy a dv to replace stock...I am confused by the forge model that has the different springs. What is the best one to buy if i do not have a chip???? Is there a forge model that does not have different spring settings? I have seen posts about the hyperboost hx..is that dv the best one?..... opinions please. also is there any tubing or anything else you would recomend to replace at the same time as you replace the DV?
thanks

Default why would you replace your dv if youre not chipped?

The Bailey DV is also a good choice.

Default because the6y crack anyway, all plastic and cheap *** rubber. might as well spend a good 120

just to be sure you are getting the right pressure out of your engine. The stock DV's go bad so SLOWLY, you hardly even notice until you try to race someone and lose badly.

Might as well just go Forge, or whatever, and be sure that the aluminum will never go bad, esp[ecially if you are not chipped.

Default well, i'll tell you....

i had a 1.8T. S4 now, but here is the thing...

I chipped at like 1000 miles or less on the car.

A couple weeks later, the chips new power blew the stock DV, but slowly.

So, at about 1300 miles or so, I put in a Forge 007 (Chrome one)...just small zip ties to the hoses to the DV, and its done....and guess what...

After futher tuning on, K04, 100 octane race, etc etc, that Forge 007 NEVER lost its purpose, like the stock dv did, once I had 15 more ponies than the engine was made for. Ridiculous, but hey. Thats life. And now you have been advised.

Default I just had dealer install my hyperboost...feels a little different. I read somewhere that you are

supposed to grease the DV before installing? Does that make a difference?
