Ecodes?

Sorry for this n00by question, but can someone tell me the diference between regular Xenons and the Ecodes?
some side by side pictures migth help me

My so-called E-code halogens. The look of halogen and xenon is the same.

ecodes are the european housing which do not have the amber reflector.. plus they have a sharper beam pattern which gives a more enhanced light dispersion. and dont forget, they have city lights. =)

halogen and xenon the same? not?

i hope you meant that the halogen ecodes and the xenon ecodes look the same "housing-wise" because xenons are sure brighter than halogen. lol.
