It is no secret that the 1.8T engine isn’t necessarily a stranger to oil sludge issues. The kit will replace what is normally the problem on the 1.8T engine. While this kit will not fix consequential damage that this sludging may have caused, after the repair it will address the most common repair technique to immediately rectify this issue.
Most cases of oil pressure problems stem from completely plugged oil pick-up tube which causes a drop in oil pressure especially when the engine is hot & at idle.
Kit includes with the following:
- Oil Pump w/ Pick-up Tube & Screen
- Oil Pan Sealant
- Large Oil Filter
- Pentosin High Performance II Engine Oil (5w-40) - 5 Quarts
- Oil Drain Plug w/ Washer
