First Problems : (

I have about 5K on my new A4 and I've noticed a strange noise that I can't locate (think pidgeons) where its coming from. The noise starts and stops and does not matter if I am moving or not.

Now when I floor the acclerator, the rpm's shoot up, but the car doesn't accelerate??? Any ideas whats going on???? I'm made an appt., so we shall see. Help!!

I also noticed a humming sound when my gf is in the car....hmmmmm

Could be a pump or something going awry. As far as the acceleration, what transmission do you have?
