HELP!

I went to the gas station this morning to fill up my car. My gas light just came on the night before (so my tank only had a couple gallons in it). The fuel pump kept auto stopping as if the tank was full. So I thought the pump was messed up and I drove to another gas station next door. The same thing happened and gas actually over flowed out! I didn't even put $1 in my tank yet! WTF is going on with my car???

Sounds like you have something blocking the filler neck?

Unless you can get it out or figure out what else it might be. I would take it to the dealership.

It happened once to me. Just start filling very slowly and eventually you will be able to put it back on auto.

that happens to me all the time, just gotta sit with it and slowly fill it, only happens when (m)

you let the car get really low on gas and continue to whip it around turns and stuff.

Yup...it's the pressure...

Happens to me when I let the tank get REAL low. Just use slightly depress the flap, using the nozzle, without filling the tank, and let the air pressure out. If you move in closely, you'll hear the air coming out.
