help! wiper problems

Ok, I bought a 02 A4 quattro back around January and have loved the car so far but... Now I have no wiper blade movement at all. I replaced the wiper switch on the steering column only to have no luck, after making sure that my linkage was tight and that my fuse was good. I tested the motor and it works as well. Is there a relay anywhere for the wipers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with mine not long ago. My wiper transmission (I believe is what's it's called) had one "arm" seized up. There is a good thread somewhere on how to remove it, take it apart, and grease it up. That worked for mine for a while, and then seized up again. Trying to do the same thing I did before, I ended up snapping off the part where the wiper arm actually mounts, so that was the end if that. I bought a new transmission from ecs tuning for around $75 and used my wiper motor. Just remember if you do that, your wipers will get out of time, and you will have to re-time them so tis speak. I'm a idiot when it comes to working on cars, I rely heavily on the net for a lot of my issues, and I was able to fix them myself.
