Default HID conversion

I have a 2004 a4 with halogen lights and i wanna convert them to HID! does anyone know of a good brand or company to get them from?

And i also understand that if you dont get the right kit you will have a light on the instrument cluster that shows a bulb burnt out!

Default Buy the bulbs and ballasts from HIDconcepts.com

The housings can be bought from a number of places; depends on if you want DOT or Ecodes.

Default Re: HID conversion

you shouldn't need new housings. but you're right - a few years ago I tried to do a conversion on my 2002, and the HID kit totally screwed up my dashboard electronics. had to return it. maybe now they have figured out what the issue was. I just don't want to risk it again....

Default maybe with the conversion you need a different light board...the thing under the steering wheel

Thats the box that monitors all your lights and crap, just an idea.

Not an issue with OE ballasts.

Default Use OE conversion kit that includes xenon HID projectors.....

to convert halogen housings. It's the only technically correct way to convert to HID xenon. And is Plug and play for the most part. The only aspect of this that isn't is converting the H7 bulb power supply connectors to the ballast power supply connector.
