Default How nice! My dealer is still using standard North American Castrol Syntec...

So I'm bringing my own Motul for the upcoming oil change!

Default 3.7, 3.8 qts, something like that. Buy 5 so you have an extra qt. on hand if necessary.

It states it right in the manual under capacities.

Default If they are using Syntec 5w-50, all is more than well. The awesome PTG V8 M3 GT Racer uses it...

So does my mechanic, so does my buddy since new in his 1997 A4. 10,000 mile changes, 110,000 total and his pics of the engine internals are shiny as new. Made from the same TSW MotorSports 10w-60 base, it is robust. My mechanic is at 16lbs boost in his S6.

http://theoildrop.server101.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=005395#000030</a
