I updated my spreadsheet on what I've spent on the car, not including maint.
I almost passed out:
$11,713.28 (not including $1,358.95 in labor charges)
And then I added up what it would cost if I was to continue with my future performance plans:
$8,503
Plus figure another $2-3k for interior upgrades (Recaros, etc)
I'm starting to wonder if I should just add the Recaros and call it a day and start saving for the Porsche, although I'll be driving this car until I get the Porsche (and then after as well). Decisions, decisions, decisions...

well you're still well behind Tgr_Clw in $ spent, and look at it this way, I've spent more
than half of your amount in ~6 months of owning my S4
If the ultimate conclusion of this car is a "stop-gap" until you get your Porsche, than I'd say add your Recaros and call it a day...until the P-car of course

I've got about $2,500+ in maintenance alone...and that's with me doing the labor...
Covers 20 months and 26K miles since I bought it. Too damn much, although they are great cars and do everything you ask them to do.
I've done no mods on this car. I will not be adding what I spent on my other Audi.

Yeah I mean I'm at least 6 years away from the Porsche (my ambitious goal)
And in the realm of a $80k+ sports car (that's what I'm hoping used 997 GT3's will be at in 6 years), I'm not sure what kind of difference $10k will make (I guess 12% of the price lol)

I don't want to know how much I've spent so far, all I know is that in almost 7yrs, it's been a lot.
I've come to the conclusion that this car will not be replaced by something else. It will stay in my garage as my 2nd car. I've been wanting to buy a Jeep Wrangler in the future(had one in high school and during college) fun car/truck whatever.
