interior scratching..

hey all- it seems like the rubber coating on all of the plastic surfaces on my a4 scratch really easily... for example.. my door handle, interior, has gauges out of the outer layering of rubber... etc... I am kinda bumming about this, Im at 22K miles and my interior is showing major signs of wear and tear, and I do not by any means abuse it, I even take off my wedding ring!!!

anyone else seeing this?

oh and any suggestions on what to use to clean the headliner? some marks here and there I want to get rid of...

BTW...how do people's headliner get stained? I've never had a problem with any car! Do that many people get laid in cars?

Most dealers will replace the buttons that show any wear. My window..

switches were all replaced under warranty. Some members have posted troubles about their dealer not offering this service, but most will. As for the headliner, get some OxyClean (avail. at Walmart, Target, etc.)and mix a small amount with water and it will take out most marks or stains out the headliner. I've used it a few times and it worked very well without any residue or markings behind.

I also read canvas sneaker cleaner works well also - haven't tried it myself.

just had the car in for 30k Service today and they replaced the window buttons....

on the drives door, two of them were peeling. just noticed it last week. Dealer had the pasrts in stock. Said it happen more with women with nails and rings, but don't explain why mine are peeling.
