Major Electrical Issues
I have a 2002 Quattro 3.0, I changed my drivers door due to a crease, within a couple of weeks had various electrical issues. Gradually, drivers window stopped, then the whole switch, passenger window switch still worked, then stopped. Moon roof stopped, Windshield wipers and turn signals stopped, AC in Econ mode only. Unfortunately my mechanic threw out my old door and I do not have metal key for new one, remote locking also stopped.
I changed the door wiring harness no result, bought a CCM on Ebay, no difference. tried a combination of all no help. I have now been told it could be my load reduction relay. But looking on blogs, the relay should be a 213, under my driver side lower dash I only have, 614, Blank, 53, 373 and 370 is it one of these? Or does anyone else have any idea what the issue could be, parts of my dash are also out, but the needles still work. I also have a intermittent issue with the Tiptronic in Drive, occasionally it will not change up and just start over revving, the Park Drive Neutral etc lights are flashing. Manual works fine and S works fine.
