I've been a fan the whole time...
however (which is true of all florida sports) the fan support sucks.
The problem is everyone from Florida comes from somewhere else, mainly New York. So our local team fan base lacks. Our only team with consistent attendance is the Dolphins (who couldn't sell out a home playoff game 2 years ago). I'm in no way a front runner, I'm a hometown fan.
If you ask where I was 2 years ago... well I wouldn't post saying Marlins while we were losing (but I was a fan).
As for the Cubs... you'd rather see a team that choked and lost 3 in a row ? The Marlins no quit attitude and clutch performance is why they won the world series.
If the Red Sox couldn't beat the Yankees, who would've thought the MArlins would ?

the key is resigning pudge, then we will know the Marlins are serious...

We didn't let go of Lowell.
We added Urbina and Conine.
