Default need help USP front spoiler (m)

So I'm having my rf fender repaired and thought now's a good opportunity to upgrade to Ultrasport front spoiler. So I order it from my local dealer- Lewis Motors, right from the Audi accessories catalog. I bring it to my bodyshop and he says no way this will fit my car. Now I have read on here before that you can't just order the part number from a USP car because it won't fit without changing the upper bumper cover as well. This is why I ordered it from the catalog- it makes no mention of needing the upper section of the bumper. Has anyone here had experience with the factory accessories spoiler and its fitament? Maybe someone with ETKA could help. I'll post the link to the catalog so you all know what I mean.

The spoiler in the link is the Votex, not the Ultrasport.

Default O.K. so any one with a Votex have fitament problems or is my body man

not reading instructions. On a side note- funny story. He had asked me today when I dropped off the car If I tried to call him yesterday. I said "no, why?" he replies "Well, good because I was passed out on the hood of that Chrysler over there for nine hours yesterday until someone found me- I don't know if it was the heat or what".

Default If you ordered the Votex spoiler from the catalog then it just STICKS on the existing bumper.

that's probably why he's saying it won't fit. It doesn't replace your lower bumper, but rather it sticks on to the existing one.

Fitment isn't that great, thus the reason most go with the Ultrasport bumper, that replaces your existing bumper.

Default don't get votex!!!!

i have the lip spoiler and i like it, but the kit is meh...

id go with a sportec, oettinger, caractere kit before id go with votex... votex doesn't fit nice either (obviously it can't because its a stick on kit.... if you make it work otherwise as a bumper replacement im sure i'd fit nice but its still not the nicest looking kit around)

on the otherhand the lip spoiler is like in between the ultrasport and the s4 (i've liked mine)

Default too late!

besides. I like understated and factory type stuff- and I'm not gonna paint my lowers either.

Default it'll look pretty stupid if you don't paint your lowers

cause the votex front end will be painted... then the side of your car and the rear will be grey plastic....

ok here is what i would do though... whatever shop is installing the votex front bumper see if they can install as a bumper replacement and not a "stick on" bumper... because i have seen people with votex kits that were not stuck on but yet replaced the bumper

either way though you should at the very least paint the lowers !
