Ordered a new A4. Options problem....
I have ordered a new A4 1.8T and the car has arrived but not delivered. However, my misstake was that i didnt choose navigation. My question is, can the dealer install it before delivery or is it just the factory in Germany that can install it?
Also, does anybody have pics of their navi? :-)
(not Navi+, the cheaper one..)

Ya i would agree with desiA4, havent heard of any 1.8T with nav.
you can look at aftermarket products, similar to the nav plus or use a nav/nav+ from the 3.0, i am sure the dealer can work on the install.
but it isnt an option on the 1.8T

People add Nav+ aftermarket by themselves. I can't see why dealer couldn't do it, but I doubt they
will. I think you're best off buying the Nav+ unit aftermarket and adding it yourself. There are lots of FAQs around regarding installation.

To answer your question -
Haven't heard of anyone adding the stock navigation system (that appears in the instrument cluster) to the car. This would involve replacing the Driver info display, which is probably a lot of work.
