Please help....

My radio wasn't powering off, even when I turned off the car. So I pulled and re-inserted the fuse. Now the radio is in safe mode. However the clown who owned my car before me took the code out of the manual. Is there a universal code, or am I stuck?

Actually, my service advisor just called me back after3 hours....

They were able to pull it up off of my VIN

Take your car....

to the dealer, they will pull the radio and get the seriel number. Afterwhich, they will imput the seriel number the into "vag computer" and the code will be displayed.....they will put the code in and your car is set....more than likely they will write the code down for you too. Cost will be around $40.00 (half hour labor)....
