Is this a problem or is it normal? Aircon Problem.

Is this a problem or is it normal? Aircon Problem.
Basically have been busy in the engine bay and have heard a hissing sound from this area.
It is coming from the area under the plastic cover (at the top the other side of the fire wall)where the 2 silver pipes disappear into, aircon seems ok still.
I'm hoping that its a pressure release valve but experience says noises = £££'s!
What do you think?

Funny ...
I'm sure it wasn't doing it when i had the aircon system turned off - i will check and report back.
