Default Just put one in my 05 Cab. nicely built product.

Also went back to Denso Iridium IK20's since they worked so well in the TT.

Default if these don't use oil but are washable how does it continue to filterate without becoming brittle a

Default No experience with them yet, looks like about 0.1" fiber gauze sandwich

I will keep an eye on it as it ages and post pics. Wanted to stay away from MAF trouble with the K&N oil type.
Ran K&N for about 140K miles on my TT with no trouble, but I baked in the oil after cleanings and was careful not to over oil it.

Default Just to clarify, mine are of the oiled variety.

It was explained to me by AMS that the AFE oil had a lesser chance of MAF issues [but for what reasons I can't recall as it was some time ago].

Regardless, no issues to speak of... and things seem a hair more peppy post-install.
