Default quadfecta, Hey Amir, quick question. Why is it that on the first dyno the lines

cross at 5280, but the other graphs don't? is there something I'm missing? I'm no expert but I thought they were all supposed to cross at 5280 RPM

to try to explain...sounds like a really good question.

Default The curves shifted to the left depending on which gear

you use, the fist lines that are to the left are 3rd gear pulls, thus the movement. If you did it in 5th it would move to the right

Default A couple of untrained answers.

First and foremost, notice the scaling of the graph on the baseline, ranges for tq and WHP are the same.

With his Dahlback graph you will notice that

on the right Ft/lbs of Torque is scaled from 25-225

On the left from 17 to 153 whp.

Now this may be the reason, you would have to re-scale the graph first to see.

the number divided to determine HP.

I think they traditionally are supposed to cross at that number or all else being equal they will cross at that point to to whatever formula is used to calculate WHP. I think the WHP number is a function of torque that is generated on the rollers. I do not know what the formula is though.

Like I said earlier you would really need to see the graph scaled correctly to evaluate. If it still comes up strange than it might be an issue of the car not being callibrated quite right on the Dyno. Really tough to say though..

Default The second one doesn't cross because it's not a plot of HP & Torque

The other's cross at a different place because HP &amp; Torque aren't plotted on the same scale.

Default Amir, see if you can get them to resend with the graph re-scaled

To show equal number on the HP and TQ side. This is the place to start to answer any of the questions one may have..
