Quick PSI Question...
Hey guys,
I'm just about to embark on a semi-long road trip and just wanted to double check what y'all thought about my tire pressure.
I'm running the 19x8 RS6 reps with 245/35/19 Goodyear eagle F1's.
I live in Central Texas.
I know that different pressure affect gas mileage, tire wear, contact on the road, etc... What PSI would you guys think i should be running???

Just went to San Antonio last weekend
and I ran my PSI just below max pressure, which is 51 PSI on my 18" tires with zero problems whatsoever. Doesn't help tire wear too much, but is better on fuel mileage. I'm assuming you're from the Austin/San Antonio area since you mentioned central TX. If so, you're probably familiar with the semi-suicidal drive that is the beloved I-35 speedway f/ San Antonio to Dallas. That is the most mind-wrenching speed up & slow down drive I've ever taken (including Sturgis, SD during bike week).
Point is, I spent 90% of that drive at speeds above 80 mph in traffic that is way too close for comfort, just to keep from being ran over. The other 10% was at a dead stop in Austin, since they don't know how to make roadways for the volume of traffic passing through. But at least it allows ample time to view the capitol building & sniper tower at U of TX.

Yeah... i live in Austin... and that is a perfectly accurate description of the driving situation we
have around here! haha. Pretty ridiculous... But i wouldn't want to live anywhere else... love Austin!
