Default Not a saftey feature it's because of the shape of the door....

the wheel wheel usually prevents the window from going down too far.

Default how is the window not eing 2 inches from the bottom a safety feature?

Unless you're fat you will fall right out. It was a marketing ploy of long ago...remove the door panel and see why it doesn't go down all the way.

Default it is designed for kids so that they arent able to stick their bodies out of the

windows and get hurt..ie a safety feature. the shape of the window glass can be very easily modified as well as the angle in which it closes allowing it to fully lower if they wanted it to. The same reason that the rear doors have those "child safety" locks so the dumbass kiddies dont fall out of the moving vehicle

Default Again, unless you have one huge *** kid...it's because of the shape of the wheel well NOT...

Not because a 350lb kid will catch his 24" feet. Again, look at the window and where it can go. I've never read anything that says saftey rear glass. You cannot modify the shape of the glass because if it were up it would have a curve. Ever see the cars that have the rear windows tilt when rolled down (Subies have this) it's so the window can roll down further and not hit the door.
