Remote window control
A friend of mine has a B5 A4 and he mentioned that in the B6, you can actually re-program the ECU to allow the key (remote) control the windows.
I currently have this setup in my GTI, but had to buy a chip from AlienTech and install it in my driver side door to be able to open/close the windows remotely.
Is this possible in the B6, either with or without the addition of the chip?

if you have anyone near you...use their tool, thats what I did.
got it done for free. reception is kinda weak tit but it's nice when it's hot like this to kick the windows down before getting in the car. and when it works the first time, it makes you look cool

Just go to your dealer and ask them to do it for you.
I did mine last week when I replace the dead stereo at my dealer. If you do search, you can find a code for window control, autolock, disable selective lock..., etc. Just bring the printout and give to your dealer. I'll do it free.
