Return of the trunk hooks

Remember those mysterious trunk hooks? Thanks to a posting, I odered the part (# 6Y5 867 615 B41) and was surprised to learn that they are less than $2 each! The service guy still asked for a credit card # though. Has anyone else performed this DIY? I'm not too concerned, but curious nonetheless.

Trunk hooks? Aren't they standard on new A4?

There is a little clip that has treads which must be inserted in the mounting hole.

Did you order from your local audi dealer?

When I called, they said this wasn't a valid part number...

Anyone tried calling clairparts.com?

Yes, I ordered from the dealer but, ...

It took them awhile to find the part. I saw part number 6Y5 867 615 on a message posting, but the parts guy qualified it with a B41 at the end. He said they're en route to the States, and should be here in a few weeks. We'll see...
