RNS-E w/ iPod Integration
Also how much would the adapters you speak of run? I don't mind not being able to use the stereo to control the ipod. Just want some clean static-free sound!
I believe the user Boston Driver created one and I think he may still sell the custom harnesses.
I think typically the blitzsafe and others (search on google) run around $100, whereas the icelink is around $100-$200 depending on model, right? I haven't priced the icelinks in a long time (2yrs).
you need to buy a 3.5mm jack to RCA adaptor. You'll still need to use your power inverter to charge the iPod.
FYI, I have the Kensington FM Transmitter and it works quite well. The sound is pretty damn clear for being FM. I like it because I can take it with me to different cars.

http://www.buy.com/prod/Kensington_FM_Digital_Transmitter_Auto_Charger_for _iPod_33185/q/loc/101/10407004.html
</ul
