second carbonio question........

i have a stalk real close to the maf with nothing connected to it. what the hell is it? and when they installed the carbonio was that stalk supposed to not have anything connected? i do know that it is some sort of vacuum because when i started the car i was under the hood and just happened to put my hand over it and at one point after the rpm's dropped it sucked like a two dollar *****.

everything should have been reconnected

Im not familiar with the version 2 carbonio contents but if you're talking about the vaccuum line that connects under the maf on the stock airbox then something was not connected.

so what can i connect it to?

i just put tiny filter over it as a temporary fix until i can get some better advise. also it was connected to nothing at all for the last 7 months or so, can this cause a problem?

How big is it? I think you may actually be describing the secondary air pump hose.

That would be better then it being a vaccuum hose because it would just need a filter. If it was vaccuum your car would run like crap so I gather its the secondary air pump hose. If you have the V2 carbonio, I believe it connects right up to the carbonio. If you have V1, there should be a small filter that was included.
