shifting problems
2003 audi a4 3.0 quattro 6 speed. car wont shift while running. i was driving down the road shifted to fourth gear and it threw it out. now i cant get the car to shift at all. no pressure on clutch pedal? ive looked at clutch master & slave cylinders but nothing sounds like what im having for issues. what can it be that has caused this?

Also, with the car turned off, I can put it into gear... go to start it with the clutch pedal to the floor (which is weaker than normal) and the car moves like the clutch is not releasing. Cannot shift at all. Possible throw out bearing?? master/slave clinder?? Clutch pack in general?? has anyone run into this issue before?

Bleed the line first, you could have moisture in the lines which could cause some of the issues you are discribing. If you shattered your pressure plate, you'd have bits in the car with you and probably a mangled leg.
The TB just makes a ton of racket before it goes and stops making the noise when you push in the clutch. If the clutch pedal feels weak but still gives some resistance you probably have air in the lines or moisture. Bleed them out and check, it's all about diagnosis.

if you look underneath the car on the drivers side, you will see the slave cylinder.

there are some pictures on that site. you will need a pressure brake bleeder kit.
pumping/ or use of vacuum pump does not work or well at all on these cars..
