Sick of these problems
03 1.8 QT tip with 10K on it.
when its cold out is sounds like some air pump behind the cylinder head against the firewall.
it goes away after a minute to 3 minutes, totally bogus sound.
then I get the oil changed at the dealer, and the guy must have spilled the stuff, leaked in my garage and now still stuff down on the engine block and all over the belly pan.
then the darn steering feels funny, no wear on the tires, they said the Power steering fluid was low, how i dont know. when coming to a stop at an intersection the wheels take off to the left when they get stuck in a groove, this never happened before and sometimes the car pulls but only at above 80.
only 10K miles you would think it were 100K
I don't know I may have to say later to German cars, they all seem to have weird issues like this. the MB, BMW, VAG cars

I have 4 cars,
2 company cars that I usually just drive every where
and 1 P/U truck, and the Audi
you start the Audi in the Am and it sounds loud and rough, then you go fire up the neighbors Honda and Lexus and they Purr, even when cold

I took it to the Dealer for the service, and mentioned the pulling thats when they
topped off the P/S fluid. but that darn car doesnt do it when I try to show them, the only close thing was making turns, and the steering wheel would be intermitent when turning back after completing the turn, heavy steering and all, it seems a little better now but doesnt seem like it was last month

nothing you describe is an "audi" problem, is this your first car? ...
yes, i can read and see you have "4"...
The air pump sound - behind which cylinder head, is this your first turbo?
I doubt the car did something to cause the mechanic to spill the oil...
fluids need to be topped off, grooves in the road pull cars, even new cars need alignments
wait until you watch your IS fall apart before you eyes in less then 10k...
my 2cents, and I am a porsche (current), audi (current), mb, vw, bmw driver.

Check your tire pressures before you worry about the alignment
Does the car pull to the right? Roads generally crown, causing the car to pull more to the right. Some tires are more susceptible to tramlining. But most importantly, get an good tire gauge, and check the tire pressures yourself.
