Default well...I have GIAC, not APR

but the situation is the same with both. Only REVO has a softare program that will eliminate the CEL. Personally, I have gotten used to it now and dont really care, as I know what is wrong with the car. There are also a number of O2 sensor emulators on the market that may or may not work...they basically trick the 02 sensor into thinking that it is recieving the information it wants. Do the test pipe, youll love it. I just think of the CEL as a little yellow reason my car is performing better....kindo of like when u turn off your ESP...that is a little yellow reminder you are letting your wheels spin when tearing it up!

Cool. How much did you spend after installation?
I have a tip and your saying if I turn off the esp it my wheels will bark? I have to try that.
What kind of numbers are you pushing? After the APR satge 2 if I run the 100 oct program Im getting on paper 272 hp and 312 torque. If I add the test I'll get close to 15 more right? On paper that is. To the crank not the wheel.

Default I'm thinking, realistically, more like 10hp to the crank...

but the real gains are in the air flow past 4k rpm. The rpms dont back off at all, and just keep pushing hard. Its more a function of a wider hp curve than more raw hp. The pipe is well worth it.

right now here in denver i am running 195whp on a race program (244chp) and 270 wtq. just look for better engine performnace from the test pipe, not a significant hp gain (although it is there).

As far as ESP goes...taking a hard launch and turning hard at speed can trip it, braking certain wheels to keep the car moving as a normal human being would want...with it off u have a little more "flexibility" to get better launches and slide out a bit during turns.

I just have k04 but have a test pipe. I was going to use the spark arrestor mod to get rid of my cel. With the test pipe I have I could not get one of them to fit with the o2 in place. I found on Vwvortex someone that makes a 90deg block to insert into the test pipe then the o2 into that so it is parallel with the pipe. It was like $35. I have been using that with 2 arrestors and no cel for about 7k mi. I could probably use it without the arrestors but havent tried. It seems to work fine so I just leave it.
