Tint Poll: 35% or 20%?

35% gets my vote...not too dark but just enough to protect the interior
I really don't like it too dark and local police can be over zealous, so I went w/ 35% Solar Gard w/ proprietary adhesive guaranteed for life (pricey but worth it-www.solargard.com). This angle and lighting makes it appear darker.

i can only speak for my own state...
which is MS (yeah, i wear shoes and have indoor plumbing), but the law here is 35%. i have had several people tell me they couldn't get inspection stickers with 35% tint because the glass is given an ever-so-slight tint from the factory, so putting on 35% tint will most times read around 38-40% tint at the inspection place. granted you can usually find some kid that works for minimum wage who won't give a ****, but they've been cracking down lately. so i'll probably get 40% when i get mine done rather than 35%, even though 35 is the limit, just so i can avoid hastle from the inspection people. i'm in no way saying that's why T-dizzle did that, because i can't speak for him, but this is a consideration for you. most people giving the stickers make no distinction b/t 3% and 20% off: if it's illegal, they won't give it to you. Bullsh!t, if you ask me, but hey, pot's illegal too. go figure.

My vote goes to 35%...
I had 20% tint on my previous car and while I did like it I was forced to sometimes roll down my front windows when driving in not well lit neighbourhoods.
My theory is that if you go with 35% you'll enjoy easier driving at night, but will want more privacy of the 20%. If you get 20% you'll like the darkness of the windows, but will sometimes wish for 35%.
Heat rejection is about the same between the two.
I'd also say that Audis look best with lighter tint.
Just pick one, either way you'll be very happy.
