Trip Computer

I was just wondering. It seems like my trip computer just kinda resets on its own whim. I was just wondering what are the criteria before it goes back to 0:00

Computer #1 resets after the car has been off for longer than 2 hours; Computer #2 (more)

does not reset until it reaches some high number (99 hours? I forget) or you reset it manually (computer #1 can be reset manually as well).

One last note for computer #1: Even if the car has been off for 2 hours, it will still show the previous trip's information the next time you start the car. It'll reset to zero once you begin moving.
