Default Why in the hell...

does the AWE boost gauge have to be SOOOO expensive?? Its just a gauge and a sensor...its DAMN SEXY but still $259.95 is so much money! I wish it were cheaper so I could buy one.

Ok, I'm done. I really just mad cause my car has a boost leak and I can't figure whats causing it and my local tuner is just making me spend crazy money to fix this. And my friend with VAG software is moving away so I can't get anymore boost info on my car without driving to my far away "local" shop. But if I had a boost gauge I could see my boost. So, I'm just venting right now. I said I was done before but, that was just a lie. Sorry. I'm still venting. Getting close to being done though. OK, I feel better now. Done!!

Default a gauge still won't tell you "where" the leak is though...

Assmuming you are still within warranty,

Turn your Revo to stock mode and bring it to a your dealer, they should be able to find your leak easily. Just don't mention anything about mods and just tell them your problem and leave. According to your mod-list, you don't have anything major done that would alert them you are modded. Plus, you can get boost leaks from stock boost as well. I had this happen to me.

or,

check to see if there is "any" shop near you that works on turbo cars to see if they have that pressurizer system that can show where the leaks are venting. Don't have them do the work, just find the problem and go from there.

Default I know a boost gauge won't tell me where the leak is but when its happening...

I don't have any problem with the leak, or at least a big enough problem to throw a fault code on VAG in stock mode otherwise I would have had the dealership deal with it the day after I got the CEL.

The point of my post was really to vent...

But, this saturday my local tuner is going to throw on a forge or bailey DV to prove that the CEL is caused from the DV. This is BS because I've had three different DVs on my car and all of them threw the same CEL. So if the forge or bailey works and doesn't give me the CEL, then i'm ready to throw $145 at them and end this headache. I'm sick of my car looking so sexy but being so slow....

Default R&D for the mounting. They have eat, too...

Frankly, I thought it was worth it and I haven't regreted buying one.
