Xenon headlight problem:
On my mom's '04 1.8tq she is getting a fault code for the auto leveling xenons. I cleared the code last night with my Vag-com, but apparently it came back this morning.
Vag-com says:
Control Module Part Number: 4Z7 907 357
Component and/or Version: dynamische LWR D09
Software Coding: 00060
Work Shop Code: WSC 63351
1 Fault Found:
00776 - Level Control System Sensor; Left Front (G78)
31-10 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent
Any idea where I should start looking for shorts in this system? Has anyone had this code thrown before? We could take the car into the dealership, but it is a 3.5 hour drive (each way) and I would prefer to just do it myself if anyone has insight to this situation.
