Default OEM, brushed: Yay! AM, Chrome: Nay!

Regardless of how they look, the caps may scratch the paint and possibly do other damage.

The trim on the 3.0 is not chrome, but sort of a matte aluminum. IMO, these would look odd on a 3.0.

Default They come with a non-removable adhesive. But I was thinking of mounting them removable

with tack or similar type of compound. I did tape up the edges on the caps before I mounted them so they won't scratch the mirrors.

I just stuck them on with scotch tape for now just to take some pics.

Default I would be very skeptical about any damage

But, as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations and you like it go for it. I'm not partial to either one.

Default god no...they don't even cover all of the mirror

you still see plenty of the factory mirror housing and paint. Looks horribly incomplete and tacky. Go OEM, wait for the S4 part.

I like them. I think they would look better on the 3.0 though, match the trim.
