2008 Nav Data CD

Is it bad taste to ask if anyone has the 2008 Nav Data for my MMI that they are willing to e-mail to me?

If you have a B7 A4, you don't have MMI ....

The B7 A4 has a system called an RNS-E, not the MMI which is fitted to the A6, A8 and Q7.

They do NOT use the same map DVDs - so you do NOT want an MMI DVD, it will be no use to you at all.

BTW I know the screen says "MMI" on startup - that was an idiot decision by an Audi marketing person who was halucinating.

talked to the company that sells these for Audi.

THey said that it looks like new versions have been coming out in the summer, so, per them, they'll be expecting the next version this summer. Think I'm going to wait until then and then bite the bullet for an update dvd.

Thank you...I appreciate the education. I'm an air-cooled Porsche guy by trade so any information regarding Audi's is truly appreciated....especially considering this is my first one.

The search continues...I've heard that there may be torrent info out there somewhere.
