A4 missfire code

How many miles on the spark plugs so far? Have you removed to inspect condition?
Coilpacks are on top of each cylinder. It's rare for all of them to go at the same time. Old plugs might cause the issue, or plugs that backed out. Kinda odd that it would happen on all cylinders at once, but it's cheap enough to check/fix. Bad gas could also lead to this.

I had the code for misfire on all cylinders
Replaced all 4 coil packs and was still misfiring. Sometimes would read as all cylinders, sometimes as just a few cylinders. The misfires would only happen when the engine was up to temp. If you drove gently you could avoid the misfires. But under load and when accelerating the misfires would happen. Turns out some jack@ss(either previous owner or the car dealer I purchased from) had put in spark plugs from the a4 3.0 v6 engine not the 2.0t engine. After putting in proper plugs the issue appears to be fixed. Most likely the coil packs were fine all along.

Hey guys 
Speaking from personal experience i think it's the cat converter.
Had that happen to 3 different A4's so far (2xB6 and a B7).
Have the cat checked and make sure it's not clogged up. Seems to be a common problem with them.
Oh and I hope it's still under warranty. Cat converters aren't cheap

yeah... the crankcase breather valve if its a 2.0T will set so many different codes a guy in the shop had a code to replace ECM + 9 different codes and it was only the breather valve take it out and if you can blow into the hole then its bad, there is a one way check valve ( blow in the side that the hose goes in)!!!!
