Battery Replacement
Hi All,
New to this forum - hope all is well? I have a simple question - I'm planning on changing the battery in my daughter's 2005 A4 Quattro 2.0T Base - my question is when I disconnect the battery and and install the new battery, will the intermittent disconnect affect the Radio Code if it has one, Key FOB or will it cause any other issues? The dealer said it will need programming -- lol :-)- I don't believe this at all. Thanks in advance. Tayeb - BTW - will a OBD memory saver help or will it damage anything?

On the B7 the radio is supposed to remember the VIN it was originally installed but having the radio code just in case is a good idea. The key fob may drop it's wireless connection but as long as you have 2 keys it's an easy process to get things synced up again.
