Bluetooth Phone Interface problem

I have the Bluetooth package on my B7 A4 (s-line three spoke steering wheel if it matters). I can dial out fine via the steering wheel (linked to my phone) or even voice activated, and hanging-up is no problem, but ANSWERING a call via the steering wheel is very sketchy. I'm supposed to push the left scroll wheel once to answer, but it very rarely works. Just keeps ringing. When a call comes in, my Nav screen also appears to prompt me to push the main Nav button to answer, or click to ignore and push that if I choose. Neither works well.

Has anyone else had a tough time just answering calls via the Bluetooth link? My phone is not in the cradle (hence the Bluetooth interface). Again, sometimes it works (maybe one out of five times), but not enough to give me any great confidence.

I just looked at my phone and the answer mode is set to be "open flip". I've changed it to "press send key". That seems like a logical potential fix. will try later today when I'm in the car.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated. It stiil strikes me as odd that the answer function does work maybe 20% of the time (before I made any change).

Nope. That didn't help anything. Still inconsistently engages incoming calls. Weird. Help please.

I mean this thing works flawlessly otherwise. I get in the car and the Bluetooth automatically links to my phone. I can dial out and use my phone's phonebook. Voice works great, I just can't receive an incoming call via the Bluetooth. Argh!
