Check Engine Light (please help)
Okay, so my check engine light just came on yesterday and I just noticed shortly after that my when my car is in park while started, the RPM guage goes up and down between 800 and 1,500 RPM. When is hits 800 RPM is starts sputtering a little and almost wants to stall out. I live in michigan and it has been cold, could this be a reason for this, I just have no idea why it is happening and I want to avoid the dealer at all costs (long story). I also have an APR 93 chip, just for additional background, as that could possible be the cause but I have had it for 4 months. Thanks for any help.
