Computer Performance Chip
Best chip... APR, REVO, GIAC and Neuspeed have good software. Differences between these are religious battles, so do not ask.
IMHO, the best chip is the one that is installed and supported by a shop that is close to you. Also the ability for you to switch programs is important... APR and REVO are the only ones that currently support this.
Good luck.
Revo: $499 + SPS1+ controller, which wasn't out yet, but they thought it might be $250. The controller lets you switch from a stock mode to the enhanced performance mode.
APR: $599 + $149 + tax ends up being about $800 for 91 octane program and their stock mode software. It switches with a soft switch programmed into the speed control stalk. Other options available at higher cost.
Others here have more performance info and comparisons.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

So yes, it's been beaten to death, but what hasn't? :-)
I spend more time now in the Detailing forum, trying to figure out a compromise between the right way and what I can actually do.
