I've got the stock 17" all-season with the M/S markings, though I had wondered about winter tyres.
Doesn't *really* seem worth it if I live down in the bay area, as I'd soon trash the softer rubber.

Yeah, I know about the sticker on the sun visor.
My friend bought a BMW 3-series and was telling me about how he'd taken his off.
I tried nearly everything (on the rear side of the passenger's), but only got half of it off...
The chipping is tempting, need to consider the warranty / insurance aspects of it though.

Yeah, I have to say after driving it around SF I was seriously impressed with the auto on the hills, no rollback whatsoever. (My last experience there was in some dire Hertz Ford Taurus, which was seriously scarey).

Welcome across the pond....
my 2005.5 has a color trip computer and heated rears and a mem seat...must be after 2005.5 that they put it in different packages....also wierd is I have the ski package or whatever its called and no headlight washers

Consider this...
I owned a B5 Avant prior to my B7 and drove it until about 100,000 miles, 65,000 of which were by me the majority of which were using an APR stage 1..no real issues to speak of..I've now had about 15,000 miles on the B7 with the APR software and I love it...
If you take the plunge, make sure you install the AWE boost guage kit too...very nice product and you get to see the extra boost too (which can be a good diagnostic if you there's ever any power issues)
