How to tell if it is a Quattro?
I am looking to buy a 2007 A4 Avant Quattro. I found one on the internet I like, but looking at the pictures it does not have a “Quattro” badge on the front grille or under the “2.0T” badge in the back. The Dealer is advertising it as a Quattro though. The Carfax says it is a Quattro as well.
Do all A4 Avant Quattros have these "Quattro" badges? Is there another way to verify that this car is indeed a Quattro?

I'd also be concerned about possible front damage - make sure to do enough questioning about car - if possible, have another mechanic check for damage / repairs to other sections of the front.

I live in Colorado, and don't want to fly down to Dallas unless I am ready to make a deal.

I recently bought a beautiful 2006 Dakar Beige A4 Avant with 37K miles in mint condition for $19,900 so the $26,900 that the dealer is asking for that Silver 2007 with 20K miles better be for a CPO with options.
The one option I really miss is the trip computer, which came standard on my '99 VW Passat Wagon.
It would be nice to have the integrated compass on the rear-view mirror as well as the electrically-folding outside mirrors, but that pkg also included the electrical passenger seat, which costs a bundle.
Has anybody tried upgrading the std 215/55-16" tires to 225/55-16"? Will they fit on the std 16" rims? How about any interference in the wheel well?
