I'm baaaaack...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/621/img_1558.jpg"></center><p>Hey guys, back on these boards after a 3 year hiatus. Just picked up a 2.0t quattro avant, Ibis/Ebony S-Line Titanium today, the pic should be in this post. Two questions:

1) What is the best solution for having to choose Sat Radio OR iPod connectivity? The salesman told me Audi's ipod connector was lame and would let me scroll through all of my playlists and categories, that it could only play from one selected playlist, is this true?

2) APR or GIAC?

True on the Ipod situation, but a custom harnes shoud do the work (it should let you run both items, look for teddybgame, or head over to www.navplus.us, all your questions should be awnsered there.

As far as the chip, I went with APR, a popular choice. I'm happy with it, Im sure you will be as well.

Either is a good choice, find your local tuner, get what they offer, helps with support/problems.

I got a blitzsafe iPod connector. Charges the iPod, volume control through the head unit/steering wheel, playlists via the iPod. The Audi controller, like the BMW, limits you to 5 or 6 playlists. Lame.

Purchased through/installed by a local dealer. 45 minutes, $150, no cursing on my part. Sound is excellent.
