And ...... Nothing.
Downloaded the file by burning it to a CD-R.
Went out to the car, turned it on and powered up the Nav.
Popped out the Nav DVD, put the burned CD in the slot.
After a few moments reading the disc, the screen said "unknown files".
Tried it twice more, same thing.
Put the navi disc back in, everything works fine, but no changes - still get the warning screen, no clock, etc.
Maybe someone else will try and have luck?

It told me it was updating. There was a progress bar. Then it restarted and put up a message that it was updating. This one had no progress bar. Then the screen went blank. I'd say it took over five minutes, which is a long time to be looking at a message with no activity.
