PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!!
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/136237/100_1240.jpg"></center><p>So, I posted a thread on my 07 A4 2.0t a few months back about loss of power @ 4200-4500 rpm while making a high pitch squealing noise.
Since then I have been back to the original dealer and another dealer um... 6 TIMES, all for the same thing.
I bought my car new and after about 6 months started feeling a slight hesitation and a screech around 4500 rpm.
I didn't think much of it.... till I put REVO trial in the car. Then it was MUCH more of a PROBLEM. The car would boost to 18 psi then drop to 10, go back up to 16-17, drop back to 10, and would continue to do it as long as I stayed on the gas or it went into limp mode all while making that horrible noise.
I started doing some research, and easily figured out that the cam lobe MUST be worn.
The first 4 attempts, I kind of mentioned my findings to the service tech and asked him if he knew about Audiworld.com. He said no, but reassured me that his "guys will find the problem".
The MORONS at CLASSIC AUDI not only never even checked the cam lobe, but also wasted my time and their money and changed many other parts but NEVER fixed the problem, or lessened it in any way...then tried to charge me for a rental car!!!
Frustrated and dissapointed, I checked my car for DTC's and found a P2283 and a P0087, both having to do with Fuel pressure. I cleared the codes and continued to drive the car.
Since I wasn't positive that it was the cam lobe, I scheduled an appointment with a different dealer. This time I brought that wonderful thread about the top 10 problems with the 2.0t fsi.
I got a phone call that day saying that it was the cam, but they could't fix it because there were no codes stored.
The advisor told me to "get a code and bring it back".
I got a code P2283 on my way home from the dealer, along with a P2008 and a P2015, both having to do with Intake Manifold.
Has anyone ever heard of such?
Does anyone know any GOOD dealers who will fix the car in NYC area?
I've heard that AUDI doesn't pay the dealers enough for the cam replacement, so the dealers avoid doing it.
I have made repeated attempts to contact that same advisor and keep getting blown off or my calls go un-retured. I am not the type of person to get someone fired and don't want to Name names, I just want my car fixed!
My car has been running like **** and has a rough idle. I haven't drove the car in a week and currently have a CEL.
So far, the parts replaced by the dealer are:
Bypass valve.
Thrust sensor.
Transfer pump.
Fuel Filter.
I have also had the car tested, by the REVO installer, with the VAG-COM and they told me it was a FUEL PRESSURE problem...NO **** SHERLOCK!!!
I'm hoping someone can point me in a direction other than the Lemon Law.

Have you tried Anchor Audi in Lynbrook??
There service department seems to be pretty good, i know at least one AW memember who trust them enough with his car.
Might be worth it to give them a call or drive your car in to them.
Good luck, keep us posted.
