Default A quick ECU question

Can an ECU be changed on a 2005.5 A4 2.0T just by plug and go? Or will information need to be transfered.

I am not positive, but I am pretty sure you will need a VSDS (VAG-COM) to "sync" the cluster with the ECU. Hopefully someone else could confirm.

Cheers

VCDS can help, but you will still need dealer help to deal get the SKC info.
